Before you start
Before you begin, make sure the device can open the HBVPN website and user panel normally. Account creation, plan management, subscription links, and client downloads are all handled in the user panel. This page does not provide static installers or display a directly usable subscription address. Keeping everything there helps prevent account-specific settings from being mistaken for a public link and makes it easier to check plan status and update subscriptions later.
Choose your primary platform first, and keep the browser page open until the client finishes importing. Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS place their controls differently, but they require the same items: a username you can log in with, an active plan, the subscription link generated by the user panel, and the matching client from the panel’s download page. If you already have an account and an active plan, skip account creation and ordering and go directly to “Get your subscription.” If the client already contains other configurations, first identify which set is active so you do not remain connected to an old route after importing. You do not need to delete existing entries; simply select the HBVPN subscription group explicitly when connecting.
Create an account with a username and password
Open the user panel registration page and set a username and password. HBVPN does not require an email address, so there is no need to switch to another app to receive confirmation details. Before submitting, make sure the username is easy to recognize and store the password securely; you will use the same account to view plans, copy the subscription, get the client, and manage orders.
After submission succeeds, the page will open the user panel. Check that the account area shows your current username before choosing a plan. If the registration form remains open, check whether the username is already taken, whether both password entries match, and whether the browser blocked required page scripts. The nearby prompt identifies fields that need correction; update them and submit again.
The completion test is simple: you can enter the user panel, and the username you just created appears at the top or in the account overview. Do not create multiple accounts before confirming your login status, or orders and subscriptions may be split across different usernames. Keep only your username and password for future access; the panel will provide the subscription link after you purchase a plan.
Choose a plan by monthly data usage
Stay signed in and open the plans section in the user panel. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Estimate your typical monthly usage first: web browsing and AI Tools are often a good fit for a lower data tier, while frequent Streaming or file transfers call for more headroom. All tiers support unlimited devices, so device count alone is not a reason to upgrade.
Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date. If you upgrade partway through a cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days, so check the selected data tier before ordering instead of comparing only the most prominent price. Data packages use a different billing model: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. Choose a monthly plan for predictable usage, or compare a data package when your usage is irregular.
After confirming the plan, open the order page and check the plan name, amount, and account. Then choose an available payment method from Alipay, WeChat, or USDT. After payment, return to the panel; do not treat the payment page alone as final confirmation. Check that the order status and account overview have updated. Once the active plan appears, you can retrieve its subscription details. Get the subscription link from the user panel
Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription details section. It typically includes the subscription link, a copy action, and the client download entry. After copying, do not share the link in public chats, forums, or documents; it is tied to your account and lets the client read available routes and receive future updates.
To show what the link looks like, the example below is deliberately invalid. It only illustrates that a subscription is usually a complete URL; it cannot connect and is not HBVPN’s real address:

If copying produces no confirmation, select everything in the input area and copy it, then paste it into a temporary local text box to check that it is complete. Close the temporary page afterward, and do not store the subscription link somewhere publicly accessible.
Next, open the client download section from the user panel and choose the client for your current system. Both downloads and subscriptions must go through the user panel; this page does not provide direct installer links. After installation, return here and follow the platform-specific instructions below to find the import entry. Import the subscription into clients on each platform
The core import process is the same across platforms: open the HBVPN client, find subscription or configuration management, choose the option to add from a link, paste the complete subscription address, and run the import or update. After a successful import, the client will show route groups and available regions. Do not import the same link repeatedly; duplicate configurations create several similarly named groups and make it harder to tell which one is active.
Windows client
Get the Windows client from the user panel’s download section and install it. After launching, open subscription or configuration management and choose an option such as “Import from link.” Paste the subscription link into the address field, confirm, and run an update. Wait for the route list to appear. Back on the main screen, you should see the imported subscription name and region list.
Choose a nearby route and turn on the connection switch. If the client offers a system proxy mode, the default mode is usually sufficient for everyday web and app access; there is no need to adjust complex rules during the first connection. macOS client
Download the macOS client from the user panel, move the app to the system Applications folder, and launch it. The first time it opens, macOS may ask you to confirm permission to run the app and configure the network. Open the client’s subscription or configuration page, choose to add a configuration by URL, paste the complete subscription link, and save it. Then click Update to sync the routes.
Once the route list appears, return to the connection page, choose a nearby region, and connect. If macOS asks to add a network configuration, verify the app name and allow it. After connecting, the menu bar or the client’s main window will show the current status. If system security settings prevent the app from starting, see the Help Center for connection and troubleshooting categories; repeated downloads and reinstalls are unnecessary.
Android client
Open the download section from the user panel, get the Android client, and install it as prompted. In the app, open configuration or subscription management, tap Add, choose to import from a URL, and paste the subscription link into the input field. Save it and run an update once manually to confirm that the route list has loaded, rather than seeing only an empty configuration name.
Return to the main screen, choose a route, and tap Connect. The first time the network tunnel is created, Android will show a permission prompt; verify the app name and allow it. Once the status changes to connected, keep the default rules and do not enable another network proxy app at the same time, or it will be difficult to tell which connection is carrying traffic. After verification, switch regions according to your needs.
iOS client
Find the iOS client entry in the user panel’s download section and follow the panel instructions to get it from the App Store. After installation, open the client and paste the subscription link under Subscription, Remote Configuration, or Import from URL. Save and update it, then check that the region and route list appear. If the URL is saved but no routes are shown, run a manual update once more.
When you select a route and start connecting, iOS will ask for permission to add a network configuration. Confirm it, and the connection status will appear in both the system and client interfaces. To change routes, select a new region in the client and wait for the connection to re-establish; do not import the subscription again. Updating a subscription and changing a route are separate actions: the former syncs the list, while the latter determines the current exit.
Connect to a route and verify that it is active
After importing, choose a nearby route for the first connection. A nearby route is generally better for confirming basic connectivity; once the connection is stable, switch to the region required by the target service. Click Connect and wait until the client clearly shows a connected status. Do not judge by button color alone or switch routes repeatedly while the status is still changing.
After the connection is established, open a webpage that worked normally before to confirm that basic network access remains available. Then open the international website, AI Tool, or Streaming service you need. If the target service serves regional content, check that its displayed region matches the selected route. Keep the client running during verification; do not close the connection while judging the page result.
If the webpage still shows content from before the connection, close its old tab and revisit it in a new tab. Some apps retain existing sessions and regional results, so a simple refresh may not trigger a new check. If basic webpages work but a specific service does not, first try another route in the same region. If no webpage opens, return to the client and confirm that the configuration is updated, the connection switch is enabled, and a valid route is selected.
Routine updates and troubleshooting paths
After the first connection, there is no need to create another account or place another order for everyday use. Open the client, choose a route, and connect. Only update the subscription when the route list has not refreshed for a long time, the panel says the configuration changed, or existing routes can no longer be selected. Use the existing subscription entry when updating rather than creating a new configuration each time.
When switching devices, sign in to the same user panel, get the client for the relevant platform from the download section, and import the subscription link from the account overview. HBVPN supports unlimited devices, so you do not need a separate account for a new device. For easier management, you can use the same subscription name across devices, but confirm each device’s selected route and connection status separately.
When something goes wrong, identify the stage first: inability to enter the panel is an account issue; a completed order with no visible plan is a billing issue; a subscription that will not update is a configuration issue; a working connection with an unavailable target service is more likely a route or regional access issue.
